A technology based system & method for effective implementation of the Act to stop female feticide. A device named Active Tracker is connected to ultrasound machine & it records every activity of the ultrasound in secure manner. The access of this data is given to district collectors & authorities to monitor the ultrasound centers and pregnancies. This invention has been used successfully in over 100 districts of various states in India including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Telangana etc.

Magnum Opus has implemented the save the baby girl and active tracker technology in more than 50 districts across India. Magnum Opus first invented Silent Observer (SIOB), which was further upgraded to Active Tracker and now Active Tracker+.

Girish Lad founded Rising India Research Foundation in the year 2014 and working on the issues of gender equality and women empowerment.
He initiated number of innovative projects such as Only Daughters Club; to facilitate the parents having only daughters, Rikshathon; innovative awareness program to support "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao"(save and educate girls) campaign of Government of India, a research on "Impact of work on the mental and physical health of working women", Declining child sex ratio in association with Maharashtra State Women Commission and so on.
